Treasure hunt with a spin and twist. We start with Clemael, Angel of Mercy. And what better place to start as his hand is the reason behind the title of the book.

After the removal of his hand centurys before Clemael enlists the help of a human to find the pieces with intention of rejoining his lost limb.

An enjoyable journey where knowledge of other mythical creatures is aquired and some even met. Along with extra twists which make you go "ooooh" and "ahhhhh" and "OMG" this book keeps you guessing on many things till the end and leaves you wondering if there is more to come.

The only problem I had with this book is it could have done with extra descriptions in some parts. The poem at the start that was the treasure hunt clue could also have been used as chapter titles to remind the reader which part of the treasure hunt the characters were on.

Overall though an enjoyable book which will be read and reread a fair few times :)

P.S to the author Ni Claydon....an idea for future books could be more treasure hunt style storys with these characters being asked to do them. Afterall Helen is learning so much about Angels etc she would be perfect for the ethereal beings to get help from :D

And Salve so needs his own story too hehe With cute cuddly toy *nods head much* everyone can hug a knocker then ;)

So Friday Night was THE night. The night of the big performance. 1 week and 2 days after the first workshop we were going to get up infront of people and perform our dance.

All week I had been fine till about 10 minutes before hand then I started feeling a little sick. This wasnt helped by one of the children deciding to run around and scrape the skin of her big toe. ewwww blooood.

We all queued up and got ready then it was show time. Lines 2 and 3 (my line) were a bit late entering and the music had started already (bad bad practice people not telling us this was how it would work) So no sooner had we got in and taken position 1 (on knees) than we were up and dancing.

In a way this helped because there was no sitting for a few seconds getting more nervous. The stage also had a couple of musicians on that we hadnt been told about at practice (grrr) So we ended up bunched at one end.

However. During the interval we were told by a fair few people that our bit was the best :)

We were also informed that the kids with us and before that were from DC's school showed up the ones from the "college" which are 11 years plus :D

And meridian finally put the news piece on tonight. Only me on there not DC but hopefully we will have a copy of the main performance so can pop it on and link people to it :D and hopefully it will be better than the practice dvd in which I look like nellie the elephant without tutu hehe.

Now off course body realises no more practice and no performance so is making me feel icky sicky and generally bluergh. But still buzzing over friday night so its all good :D

Has written a poem, Decorated it with pictures of leaves and outlined the black writting with red writing. It looks fabulous.

So why is she EVIL. She wants to give it to her teacher :(

The Leaf Poem

I hear the wind blow the leaves on the path when I walk on the path it looks like they are dancing in the wind and when the leaves fall from the trees from green to red and yellow then brown some red some yellow and some brown leaves come into my garden when the wind blows my way and when they go north and some leaves are pointy abd some are round and some are spikey leaves are everywhere I love leaves!

OK so I have corrected some spelling. Theres no fullstops, commas or capitals so not sure where they would fit but she sat and wrote it all herself and I am proud of her attempt :)

OK I am on the lookout for a new cordless telephone as now my broadband is routed through phone line its a bugger to watch tele when on phone.....yes some people are that boring ie telesales people :)

Anyway whilst looking I found a nice flippy telephone but it said DECT phone.

I looked it up and found out its some wireless phone or something but question I am really asking is

CAN I USE IT LIKE A NORMAL CORDLESS PHONE??????????

total 14 wow this means I am normal (shock) of course I must point out that a lot of these arent so much fears as opposed to things that just wig me out slightly, for instance some lead to pain and I am not a fan of pain blood makes me feel sick and queezy which leeds to the whole "OMG I dont want to throw up" and the throwing up is more something I have no control over.

As for the giving birth it applies as I was petrified of that stage and even now am petrified of doing it again, yet again another pain thing and the being a parent part I am still constantly worried I am doing a bad job and that I will fail in making a well formed adult out of bubble, Of course when told that a man has been naughty and has cheated on his wife with someone else her response was "she should go find another man" I think she has a good head on her shoulders for someone who is only 7 :)

which reminds me, all aliens need masters or they wont know what to do and the masters have 50 heads long necks and no eyes ;)
